03How should I “demonstrate 12 months/1 year of experience” to be eligible for A-CSM training sessions?

To demonstrate the experience please log in to your Scrum Alliance go to the dashboard and update your Scrum Alliance profile.

04I have 5+ years of Scrum experience but only recently got my CSM. Am I eligible for A-CSM training?

It is sufficient to provide your one-year Scrum experience which you have gained in the last five years. This can be before you get certified as a CSM Thus, you can get this experience before you get a Certified Scrum Master certification.

05Can I take an A-CSM educational offering before I have the required work experience?

Absolutely, It is possible to take the A-CSM® course workshop online before having one year of experience, to be certified, one must have one year of experience. It is mandatory for an individual to have at least one year of experience to be certified A-CSM®. However, you can take the class now, but you may only be able to claim your A-CSM® credential after validating one year of experience.

06My CSM Certificate has expired. Can I attend the A-CSM certification training online session?

In order to attend an A-CSM® course, you must be currently certified as CSM®. However, if your CSM expires before 90 days, you are still welcome to attend our class.

07How is A-CSM certification training different from the CSM online training certification I already have?

A-CSM® extends the knowledge obtained during the CSM® workshop and your practical practice in the ScrumMaster position. At the completion of this A-CSM® certification course workshop, you will be able to control the Scrum team and the obstacles in a much more efficient way.

08Where do A-CSM training and certification course fit in Path to CSP Educators?

As per the new path for CSP, you can now have multiple CSP Certification. i.e. CSP®-SM and CSP®-PO. A Certified Scrummaster can reach CSP®-SM by following the steps below:

Get CSM® certified

  • Provide minimum Two years certified experience as a Scrum Master at Scrum Alliance
  • Take 16 hours for the A-CSM® Workshop either virtually or physically depending on your location.
  • Spend time on attending the path of the CSP Educator program (List of approved trainers)

Get CSP certified Note – You should have at least 24 months of work experience with ScrumMaster (within the last five years).
