You'll have a 30-day grace period post-deadline set. In this period, you won't face any extra sanctions. The system will automatically flag the certificate as being in the grace period.

These restrictions boil down to how far the deadline cutoff is. For these cases, as mentioned, the system will mark your good until expiration mark as zero. While this may sound alarming, these limitations will not affect your course. The system will not impact user experience during the grace period and beyond until further notice, and for some time, the user will not face a system suspension.

Renewing Late

You may renew within the 90-day window with a late penalty fee. These are the charges:

• $50 on top of the standard renewal fee if it's 31-60 days late
• $100 on top of the standard renewal fee if it's 61-90 days late

Reinstatement vs. Re-Certification

You have two options after your 90 days, but if you do not renew your certification, it expires.

Reinstatement: Up to 180 days after expiration

Must complete these to be eligible:

• Pass a reinstatement assessment
